Hi,
When I demux the STR using Project X it generates a video file which has a nasty comb effect on fast moving parts of the image which seems to be due to the interlaced image. The Comb effect is carried through to the final DVD output. the generated MPG2 file displays OK if I use any viewer which has some form of deinterlacing turned on.
The chain I'm currently using is
+extract v0.2.6
Project X 0.40.00/30.03.2006 (compiled with sun jdk 1.5.07 )
ImagoMPEG-Muxer
Nero Vison v4.5.0.24
And I'm using a v1 pace Sky+ box.
Project X reports the STR file as
720*576i (16:9) I(2)i, unspec, 0|MP@ML(720*576), iqm, niqm, ld=0
15:2:19:10, 0/0/0, 25.0fps, S, F, tff, 4:2:0, 7980000bps, vbv 112
I'm sure I didn't get this issue with v0.2.5 and earlier, of course it could be that I've somehow managed to screw a setting in Project X or Nero Vision. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, Is there any way that you could make older versions of +extract avalable again so that I can try them out. I had a HD crash and lost original backups of +extract and Project X.
