"Not a valid XTV file system for UK - Sky+/Sky+HD!"

Postby skotl » Mon Oct 21, 2013 7:23 pm

Having happily used Copy+ with this drive and my Sky+ (non-HD) box for several years now, I am suddenly getting the message "Not a valid XTV file system for UK - Sky+/Sky+HD!"

The log file is below - any suggestions?

Re: "Not a valid XTV file system for UK - Sky+/Sky+HD!"

Hi,

Sorry you seem to be having problems.

Most likely answers are either:
a) Sky have sent out an EPG update and changed the planner format (unlikely as I don't think they are developing for the SD platform since the migration to Darwin on the HD boxes)
b) You have a corruption in your JOPA (planner database)

TBH, Copy+ is fairly much a legacy product now (as is the SD planner) now that most people have moved on to HD. This is reflected in the support requests I get (not many), and no planner updates from Sky (at least that I am aware of).

If you log a support request via the contacts page, I will reply and you can then e-mail me copies of your JOPA database files for analysis.

Stuart.
