DRX780 disk size limit with Darwin

About 6 months ago I upgraded my DRX780 with a 1.5T WD-15EVDS HDD. Problematic at the time, but eventually got it to work utilising about 550G of the disk, giving a useful, if not spectacular recording time increase. A couple of days ago though I was hit by the Darwin upgrade. I lost everything in the planner, and any new attempt to record gave a system error. I've tried all sorts, planner rebuild , full system rebuild, deleting the partion, copy+, fixskymbr, fixskybpb etc, but nothing will persuade this DRX780 box running under Darwin to work with this 1.5T HDD.

For now, I've put the original 320G HDD back into the box and that has been accepted and I am up and running again.

Does anyone know what sizes of disk will work in a DRX780 with Darwin please?

Suffered all the same problems you and everyone else has. However, after 3 goes, I'm pleased to report the 1TB Western Digital WD10EVDS available from Scan and numerous others does work. I backed up my 1.5TB with the latest version of copy+, then put the disk straight out of the anti-static bag into the PC and let copy+ initialise it and restore my programmed. I then put it back in the DRX780 box and let it finish the Darwin setup. I can now record and view my old programmes. Just waiting for Sky to allow anytime+ to work with non-sky ISPs.

Good luck
