Which replacement drives can you use and which do people recommend?

Hi Stuart,
I would imagine it's the actual brick/transformer part but I haven't really checked it out. I have replaced everything ie all cable and transformer from caddy input back to the mains wall socket. Just as well it worked as I was seriously contemplating (at my wife's suggestion) of buying a new box from Sky instead of a reconditioned one :D
Regards
Brian

Probably the transformer, maybe introducing noise on the regulated output?
But could also be a bad connection in the mains cable causing arcing?
